Large Underwater Pelletizers

American Cutting Edge was built on the cornerstone of our underwater pelletizer blade product line. Charlie Biehn, our founder, was the first to bond Ferro-tic to stainless steel and introduced this innovation at NPE in the 1980s. This bi-metal blade design has since become an industry standard. American Cutting Edge has been an industry leader in underwater pelletizer blades since 1965.

We manufacture a wide range of solid and bi-metallic underwater pelletizer blades. Common OEMs include Berstorff, Black Clawson, Coperion/Werner Pfleiderer, Egan, Farrel, JSW, and Kobe. While we stock many standard blades, we also specialize in application-specific custom designs that can be delivered in eight weeks or less.

Our engineering, sales, operations, and R&D teams, along with new capital equipment investments, allow us to produce some of the tightest tolerance knives in the industry. This helps reduce die plate wear, product waste, and energy consumption.
